Fanstatic product for children, especially for atopic skin, reduces redness and itching! The only improvement could be done in application, you need strong muscles to squeeze the tube when is half full.
I have acute dermatitis on my eyebrows and hairline above my forehead. The skin often flares up and is red and itchy and I would apply hydrocortisone to it (in moderation, of course), then would apply Epaderm as the moisturiser. But for me, Epaderm made my skin too greasy and very unflattering, also didn't do much to keep my skin looking and feeling good. As I have recently started using Avene skincare as my everyday skincare of choice, I looked into what I could switch my current moisturiser for my forehead to and this came up. I thouht the balm version would be a bit too heavy, so opted for the cream. Have to say, only used it for a week or so and can clearly see a difference. When redness appears, it calms within an hour of applying the cream. The skin is very soft and normal colour now. Will say that it is a bit difficult to use the bottle, as it takes a lot of pressure to open, otherwise would recommend 100%.
A very pleasant easy to use cream that does actually minimise the itches.
At first opening the cream feels quite thick and possibly a bit greasy, this is really not what you want on sensitive skin and I was a bit nervous.
Actually it was easy to apply and it was absorbed very quickly and easily leaving a very soft silky feel to my skin.
I will definitely continue to use it.
A few months ago I got very bad dry skin all over my face, my sister was very concerned so she went to her local chemist and got some advice on my behalf. The chemist suggested this product a bit pricey but i think its worth every penny as it does the job. I have tried other creams and they have done nothing,I totally recommend this product and the full range. I have not looked back only forward from now on.
