About
Intensely soothe your extremely dry, itchy, atopy-prone skin with the La Roche-Posay Lipikar Balm AP+, a lipid-replenishing balm that soothes and breaks the cycle of itching and irritation. The compensating texture of the balm prevents allergens from penetrating the cutaneous barrier of the skin, stopping the stinging, scratching, and pulling of tight skin. Lipikar Balm AP+ immediately soothes and breaks this vicious cycle to lastingly restore skin comfort. A high dose of Niacinamide fights against irritation messengers and restores the cutaneous barrier, while a significant 20% concentration of Shea Butter and Canola oil - which is rich in Omegas 3 and 6 - provide intense lipid replenishment, allowing skin to regain a supple, high-comfort feel.... Rich and soothing

This is a great cream for very dry skin. It is very rich so most useful for dehydrated and problem skin. For every day use, I would recommend La Roche-Posay Lipikar body lotion, with the Baume as a complement for dry/problem areas.

My favourite moisturiser

This is the best moisturiser, I have been using it for years and my dry itchy skin still loves it. It's rich in texture, but not too thick; no fragrance, which goes ok with sensitive skin.

Husband approves !

I bought this for my husband who suffers from dry, flaky skin on his back that can become itchy as the temperature changes. He has found it very soothing and it has certainly helped with the dryness too.

Excellent body moisturiser for dry skin

I have always had dry skin on my body despite regular use of moisturisers. Most high street options aren't nourishing enough, or they don't keep skin moisturised for long enough. I'm already a fan of LRP facial skincare products but having not tried their bodycare I thought I'd give it a go. This is called a balm but I think it has more of a rich cream texture (which I prefer). "Balms" can be slow to absorb and leave a greasy feel, but this sinks in beautifully and leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. I like the minimalist ingredients which make it suitable for kids as well and the fact it's fragrance free. The only thing I'm not so keen on is the price point - it feel quite expensive for the amount which makes me slightly hesitant to repurchase. But other than that, I love this cream!
