Amazing light cream

I'm so impressed with this cream, which should be no surprise as im impressed with The Ordinary in general!
So i purchased it not knowing what i'd use it for but now my mom and i are fighting over it! She has very dry skin and is in her early 70s, i have oily combination skin in my 30s, which shows how versatile this product is.

Mum uses it over the Rose Hip Seed oil twice a day and her skin is nice and moisturised. It creates a perfect light shield on your skin.

I use it over my serums and under my sunscreen without any oiliness or pilling.
I just ordered the larger size, its amazing. Thank you Brandon Truaxe aka Ali Roshan for your amazing work!

Be careful with this

I was so looking forward to trying this! Perfect basic moisturizer, I thought!
BUT: After using this continuously I feel like it's causing me to breakout. And it's too heavy for my combination skin type.
So if you are normal to dry, don't need anti-aging properties in your cream and need a basic moisturizer - it's worth trying. If you are on the oily side - better avoid it.

Horrible stuff

I hoped this would be a nice lightweight moisturiser for my oily/ t zone skin. I'd imagined it'd be a hyaluronic acid gel like past HA more expensive ones I'd tried in the past. With all the hype over this brand I perhaps got my hopes up too much. It gave me horrible clogged pores. Instead of being lightweight it's a dense, hard to apply chalky consistency. It also somehow makes me go really oily, even though it's oil free, it feels dry and oily at the same time. Dry on application but then leaves me shiny and pore clogged. If I could get my money back I would. I definitely do not recommend this and to be honest it's out me off the whole brand.

Quite simply does the job

... and really well. One of the best moisturisers I’ve ever tried. Sits beautifully under makeup there’s never any pilling and skin feels good. Cannot argue at that price
